TO CHANGE THE WORLD

In both big ways and small, the core work of God (and therefore his church) is to change the world. But how is the world really changed? Transformation may be a compelling idea but it is also an elusive outcome. This weekend we will explore the three forms that transformation took in Jesus’ ministry; healing the sick, casting out demons and preaching the kingdom. We will consider the cross roads of his life and ours, through the lens of prayer, activism, and proclamation. We want to wonder together if this is how the world is still changed.
