Ben Folds is widely regarded as one of the major music influencers of our generation. What initially began as a request for songs as encores in his shows, has now become a central element for many of Folds solo shows when, as he begins the second half of his concert performances, he cues the audience to launch their song requests toward the stage via paper airplanes.

Folds is touring once again to deliver his power piano solo performance, drawing from his enormous body of original genre-bending music that spans over two decades, works that include hit solo albums, critically-acclaimed albums with the Ben Folds Five, numerous film and television scores, and collaborative records with artists from Sara Bareilles to William Shatner.

Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, June 16, and are available online beginning at 10 a.m., and by phone and in person at the Straz Center Ticket Sales office beginning at 12 p.m.
