CALLING ALL PROFESSIONAL ACTORS!

Ruth Eckerd Hall will be holding auditions for, “The New Adventures of Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer: Encore for Murder.” Hard-boiled Detective, Mike Hammer, returns for another thrilling murder mystery filled with intrigue, chills and dames! This new Radio Drama, script by Max Allan Collins, story by Mickey Spillane and Max Allan Collins, will feature Gary Sandy from WKRP in Cincinnati as Detective Mike Hammer, and will be performed in the Murray Theatre at Ruth Eckerd Hall from January 18-28, 2018. Richard Rice has signed on to be our director. Rehearsals will be January 8-17, 2018.

We are looking for 6 male, and 4 female actors with professional experience to join Mr. Sandy in the cast. The second round of auditions will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 on the Ruth Eckerd Hall Main Stage.

Time slots for the auditions will begin at 4PM and will be five (5) minutes each. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your time slot in order to fill out any paperwork. Please bring a resume and headshot to the audition. Be prepared to list any scheduling conflicts that you may have during the rehearsal process. For the audition, please prepare one minute or less of a comedic or dramatic monologue. There will be a stipend available for the performers, however, this is not an Equity production.
